
Lewis Slater is a registered podiatrist and chiropodist, who has worked in both the NHS and private practice and lectured widely to both health-care and sports professionals.
Lewis graduated in 1987 from the Chelsea School of Chiropody and Podiatric Medicine.
Lewis treats patients for all manner of chiropody problems, including heel pain, infections, in-grown toe nails and verrucae. He also performs minor surgery. He uses the latest video computer-gait analysis equipment to assess clients and a laser scanner for the prescription of foot orthosis.
He has developed a growing focus on sports medicine and biomechanics, rehabilitation and training techniques including Pilates. Since 1988, he has worked within two large central London sports centres.
Lewis works in a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, osteopaths and Pilates trainers. By using a team approach Lewis's aim is to get clients out of pain as effectively as possible and educate them to avoid injury in the future.
